High Level Toy Library Parent Link Centre

"Working with parents to give children the best start in life."

Summer may be over but we've got plenty to keep you busy!

Welcome!

Welcome to the home page of the High Level Toy Lending Library & Parent Link Centre.

The High Level Toy Lending Library Society was established in November 1994.  The Society's first program was the development of the High Level Toy Lending Library. The TLC offered a collection of toys for families of children 0- twelve years of age to borrow. In 2007 the Alberta Government created Parent Link Centres to enhance existing programs for children 0-6 years of age. The High Level Toy Lending Library Society then used this new initiative to create the High Level Parent Link Centre.

Both programs are housed in the same building and work together to better the lives of young families in High Level and surrounding areas by offering a wide array of toys and resources for families to borrow as well as programs and education sessions for children and caregivers. All of our programming is free and all are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The High Level Parent Link Centre is part of a province-wide network of Parent Resource Centres created by Alberta Children's Services.

Fast Facts

A harvest festival is an annual celebration which occurs around the time of the main harvest of a given region. Given the differences in climate and crops around the world, harvest festivals can be found at various times throughout the world. Harvests festivals typically feature feasting, both family and public, with foods that are drawn from crops that come to maturity around the time of the festival.
